Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for CI/CD integration
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and quality metrics reporting
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and drive preventive solutions
- Maintain test environments and ensure test data integrity
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in test automation
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Expertise in SQL for database testing and data validation
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credential
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and APIs
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
