Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web/mobile applications using Selenium, Cypress, and JIRA
- Lead automation strategy implementation with Python/Java to achieve 80%+ test coverage
- Conduct end-to-end functional, regression, and performance testing in AWS/GCP environments
- Document defects using standardized metrics and drive root cause analysis
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA engineering with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance program
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
