Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD tools
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and implement preventive quality measures
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with emphasis on automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java/JavaScript) and SQL
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development principles
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into test scenarios
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
