Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks
- Lead end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate QA processes throughout the SDLC
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and drive resolution with development teams
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality assurance best practices
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in SQL, REST API testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing practices
- Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB) or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
