Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-based applications
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to enhance test coverage by 40%
- Implement continuous integration pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for seamless QA integration
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and drive corrective actions
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for documentation and defect tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (5+ years QA experience)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) and test management systems
- Demonstrated experience in QA for cloud/SaaS products
