Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications
- Lead automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright frameworks
- Perform manual testing, including regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and Confluence
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Champion QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Expert knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and SDLC processes
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification preferred
