Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab for continuous testing integration
- Lead defect management using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Conduct API testing with Postman and validate database integrity via SQL queries
- Collaborate with product teams to define test cases from user stories and requirements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 3+ years in test automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for web automation
- Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript for test script development
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar quality assurance frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
