Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Lead the automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce manual regression testing efforts.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with precision, prioritizing critical issues that impact user experience.
- Collaborate with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment to troubleshoot root causes and implement fixes.
- Conduct performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility testing to ensure robust delivery.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance within the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Deep understanding of SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a major plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
