Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for complex software products.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Perform rigorous functional, regression, and smoke testing to ensure product stability.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze production defects and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to elevate team standards.
- Drive performance and load testing initiatives to ensure system scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and software development.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first or hybrid work environment.
