Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Automation Engineering: Build and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to increase delivery speed and reliability.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs with high precision using JIRA, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test pipelines into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure code quality at every stage.
- Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to ensure system scalability and stability under high traffic.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide feedback on product requirements and technical feasibility.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and SQL databases.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and testing tools (Postman, JMeter).
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
