Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Python, Selenium, and Cypress.
- Integrate automated testing directly into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) to ensure continuous validation.
- Collaborate closely with Agile teams to define acceptance criteria and write robust test cases.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis for defects and implement preventative measures.
- Design and execute API and load testing strategies using tools like Postman and JMeter.
- Mentor junior QA staff and conduct code reviews to improve team testing practices.
- Stay current with industry trends in QA and automation to drive process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on Automation.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing frameworks (REST Assured, Postman) and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
