We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our elite engineering team at Apex Digital Solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design robust test automation frameworks, execute complex test scenarios, and identify critical performance bottlenecks before they reach production.

Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Test Frameworks: Architect scalable, maintainable, and robust end-to-end automation frameworks using industry-standard tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Performance & Load Testing: Conduct comprehensive load, stress, and scalability testing using tools such as JMeter or K6 to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous validation of code commits.
- API Testing: Design and execute automated API tests using Postman, RestAssured, or similar technologies to verify backend logic and data integrity.
- Bug Management: Collaborate with developers to reproduce, triage, and track bugs in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Test Strategy: Contribute to the development of QA strategies, test plans, and test cases to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews for test scripts, and promote best practices in testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) and experience with SQL for database querying.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, JIRA, Postman, and Jenkins.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies; experience working in an Agile environment is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and quality gaps.
