Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead CI/CD pipeline integration of automated tests with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define test strategies and quality metrics
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with Selenium/Cypress
- Expertise in REST API testing with Postman and SOAP UI
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and test-driven development
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certified Agile/Scrum Master or equivalent QA certification preferred
- Experience testing SaaS applications and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Demonstrable ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
