Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Test Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure immediate feedback on code quality.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs with precision using JIRA, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure rapid resolution.
- Performance Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to stress-test applications and ensure system stability under heavy loads.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine testing methodologies and best practices to improve overall software delivery velocity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on Automation.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least two scripting languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Tools: Solid understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and browser automation tools (Selenium, Cypress).
- Database Knowledge: Ability to write complex SQL queries to validate database integrity and backend logic.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
