Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated test execution
- Lead defect management lifecycle using JIRA and implement root cause analysis methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria
- Champion quality metrics and reporting using tools like Allure and Grafana
- Mentor QA team members on automation best practices and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or SaaS environments
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proven track record of reducing regression cycles by 50%+ through automation
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test cases
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1) and security testing methodologies
