Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies and frameworks to ensure high software quality.
- Develop, maintain, and execute robust automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium and Cypress.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to facilitate continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, product managers, and designers to identify testing requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform exploratory testing and usability testing to uncover edge cases.
- Conduct performance and security testing to validate system stability under load.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript, and tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database querying (SQL).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and containerization (Docker).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
