Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale highly reliable test automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Integrate automated test suites into modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins) to achieve continuous testing.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define comprehensive test strategies, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Perform rigorous API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Analyze, document, and track complex software defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure rapid resolution.
- Conduct performance, stress, and load testing using JMeter or Gatling to guarantee system resilience.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize automated testing best practices across the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a heavy specialization in test automation.
- Proficient programming skills in at least one major language: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing automated test suites for highly dynamic web applications.
- Strong expertise with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git workflow, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with an uncompromising eye for detail.
