Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce regression testing time.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure immediate feedback on code quality.
- Lead the definition of test strategies, including API testing (Postman/Swagger) and performance testing tools (JMeter/K6).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust test cases.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of coding and testing practices.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, while providing clear root cause analysis and resolution strategies.
- Continuously improve testing infrastructure, frameworks, and tools to enhance overall delivery velocity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 3 years specifically in Automation.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and test automation.
- Tools: Solid knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, or Cypress is required.
- CI/CD: Experience integrating tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
- Agile: Proven track record working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
