Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a robust automated testing framework using Python, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to ensure continuous validation.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Locust to identify bottlenecks and ensure system stability.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and Backend teams to troubleshoot complex issues and improve overall system reliability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in testing methodologies.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback on bugs and ensure timely resolution across the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript) and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience testing via Postman or Swagger.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an iterative development environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
