Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of distributed systems with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and architectural planning
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment time by 40%
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct rigorous testing and performance tuning for production systems
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record designing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Strong background in database optimization (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
