The Role:
You will lead the charge in establishing a world-class QA framework. You won't just find bugs; you will architect the safety net that allows our developers to ship with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Maintain: Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Test Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests directly into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enforce quality gates.
- Performance Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter or k6 to simulate high-load scenarios and identify bottlenecks before production release.
- Lead the Team: Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for test maintenance and reporting.
- Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with DevOps and Backend teams to perform deep-dive analysis on critical bugs and implement preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years specifically in Automation Testing.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or Java with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
- Frameworks: Deep knowledge of Cypress or Selenium WebDriver.
- API Testing: Experience with RESTful APIs using Postman or RestAssured.
- Database: Solid understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
