Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress for web applications
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Execute API testing using Postman and validate RESTful services
- Report on quality metrics and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or SaaS
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) and security testing basics
- Proficient in database testing (SQL) and API validation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
