Responsibilities
- Design & Execute Automation Strategy: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to ensure rapid feedback loops.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing on every release to identify bugs and ensure backward compatibility.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the dev team to conduct load and stress testing to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Log, track, and verify bugs using JIRA or similar tools, providing detailed reproduction steps and root cause analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and improve software quality standards.
- Test Environment Management: Assist in the setup and maintenance of staging and production test environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years specifically in Automation Testing.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
- Frameworks: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- API Testing: Expert knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
