Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including identifying potential suppliers, conducting RFQs, and evaluating bids to ensure best value.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize pricing and delivery schedules.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with warehouse teams to forecast demand and align purchasing schedules with inventory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure quality and adherence to SLAs.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Soft Skills: Proven track record of negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
