Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies to support business objectives and minimize costs.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers to secure the best terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to ensure alignment on procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance through regular audits and performance reviews, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage the entire procurement cycle, from requisition to purchase order and final delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors.
- Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
