Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing cost reductions of 12-18% annually
- Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics using SAP Ariba
- Oversee purchasing budget ($15M+) ensuring compliance with financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Drive sustainability initiatives through eco-friendly supplier programs
- Analyze market trends and recommend procurement strategy adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ in leadership
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in contract management and risk mitigation strategies
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Proven track record of cost reduction and process optimization
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
