Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities, driving 15%+ cost reduction annually
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management for Fortune 500 partnerships
- Oversee procurement budget allocation and expense control initiatives
- Implement and optimize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for purchasing workflows
- Manage cross-functional procurement projects with engineering, logistics, and finance teams
- Analyze market trends and risk factors to inform proactive purchasing decisions
- Mentor junior purchasing specialists and develop departmental KPIs
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ethical sourcing and supplier diversity programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ in management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (Ariba, Coupa, or similar)
- Proven track record of vendor relationship management and performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience in international procurement and supply chain compliance
