Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities, achieving 15%+ annual cost reduction targets
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract management, ensuring compliance with SOX and ISO 9001 standards
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data using SAP Ariba and Power BI
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement value engineering initiatives
- Manage cross-functional procurement projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Mentor junior buyers and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Oversee supplier diversity program and ethical sourcing compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with $10M+ spend management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, cost analysis, and contract lifecycle management
- Proven success implementing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) in procurement environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spend analytics tools
- Exceptional negotiation skills with track record of vendor relationship building
- Experience managing international supply chains and cross-border logistics
