Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across key categories
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with Fortune 500 suppliers
- Analyze market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams for complex procurement projects
- Implement and maintain compliance with purchasing policies
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for procurement analytics
- Mentor junior purchasing specialists and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience
- CIPS or CPSM certification preferred
- Proven track record of $1M+ annual spend management
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector preferred
