- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for 15+ key commodities
- Lead complex supplier negotiations achieving 12-15% cost savings annually
- Manage supplier relationships across North America and Asia
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions
- Collaborate with engineering teams on new product introduction sourcing
- Analyze market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Oversee purchasing team of 5 direct reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expert negotiation skills with track record of $5M+ contracts
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and ERP systems
- Proven experience managing international supplier portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership abilities with team development experience
