Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories, achieving 12-15% annual cost reduction targets
- Lead cross-functional negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers, managing contracts exceeding $50M in value
- Implement and optimize procurement technologies including SAP Ariba and Coupa platforms
- Oversee supplier relationship management program, ensuring 98% vendor compliance and performance
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ESG-focused supplier selection and lifecycle analysis
- Analyze market trends and risk factors to inform procurement strategy and contingency planning
- Mentor 5+ procurement specialists while establishing departmental KPIs and reporting frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive procurement experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- CIPS or CPSM certification required, MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives exceeding $2M annually
- Advanced proficiency in procurement analytics tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success in complex commercial agreements
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and matrix organizational structures
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and global supply chain dynamics
