Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs and improve supplier performance
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends and procurement data to inform purchasing decisions
- Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with finance and operations to align purchasing with business objectives
- Implement and maintain procurement best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Expert negotiation skills with proven track record of cost savings
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in developing sustainable procurement strategies
