Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and achieve 15%+ cost savings
- Lead negotiations with global suppliers for complex contracts and long-term agreements
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and mitigate supply chain risks
- Oversee procurement budget allocation and implement cost-control measures
- Analyze market trends and leverage data analytics to drive procurement decisions
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability
- Mentor and develop the purchasing team through training and performance management
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive procurement experience with 5+ years in leadership
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent designation
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (SAP Ariba, Coupa) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and financial metrics
- Exceptional communication skills with experience managing cross-cultural teams
