Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for 15+ key categories
- Lead vendor negotiations resulting in 10-15% cost reduction targets
- Oversee procurement budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Implement and maintain supplier relationship management (SRM) systems
- Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ethical sourcing standards
- Mentor junior procurement professionals through structured training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 7+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing/distribution
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and Oracle ERP systems
- Proven track record of international vendor management
- Expertise in contract negotiation and risk mitigation
- Data-driven decision-making with analytical modeling skills
