Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to minimize costs and maximize quality.
- Lead contract negotiations with key domestic and international suppliers to secure competitive terms.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain logistics, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement data-driven procurement processes to improve organizational efficiency.
- Mentor and lead a cross-functional team of junior buyers and procurement specialists.
- Collaborate with engineering and production departments to align purchasing with manufacturing requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in strategic sourcing and purchasing.
- Proven track record of managing high-value contract negotiations and vendor performance.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong proficiency in data analytics, spend management software, and MS Excel.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
