Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply reliability.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to forecast procurement needs and inventory requirements.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and ISO standards.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance purchasing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Production teams to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend portfolios and complex supply chains.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building sustainable, value-driven supplier relationships.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and process optimization.
