Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with key global suppliers and distributors.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to mitigate risks and capitalize on purchasing opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure material availability and quality standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, including PO management, vendor performance auditing, and inventory optimization.
- Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices across all sourcing channels.
- Mentor and lead the purchasing department to achieve departmental KPIs and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiations and vendor management.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP is highly desirable.
