Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies for raw materials and indirect spend.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Lead cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and reduce lead times.
- Monitor global market trends and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive forecasting.
- Oversee supplier performance management, including quarterly business reviews and quality audits.
- Implement sustainable and ethical sourcing initiatives aligned with ESG company goals.
- Manage the department budget and optimize inventory carrying costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategy.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
