Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and MRO supplies across 15+ categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing cost savings of 15-20% annually through contract optimization
- Implement e-procurement systems driving 30% reduction in processing times
- Analyze market trends and risk factors to inform purchasing decisions
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including ethical sourcing and carbon footprint reduction
- Conduct supplier performance audits and develop improvement action plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience with 3+ in leadership
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba or Oracle)
- Proven track record of achieving >$2M annual cost savings
- Advanced negotiation skills with complex international suppliers
