Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the company's purchasing and procurement strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain network.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of service with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
- Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and material requirements to forecast inventory needs accurately.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain robust procurement policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reporting systems.
- Oversee the procurement budget and provide regular financial forecasting and analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
