Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and quality standards.
- Oversee the purchasing budget and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to align purchasing strategies with business objectives and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successful vendor management and negotiation skills with ability to secure strategic partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software (e.g., Coupa, Ariba).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
