Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories, achieving 10-15% annual cost savings
- Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance management for 50+ global vendors
- Analyze market trends and data to optimize purchasing decisions and mitigate supply chain risks
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing initiatives with business objectives
- Implement and maintain procurement systems (SAP Ariba) for end-to-end visibility and compliance
- Mentor purchasing specialists and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 sustainability standards and ethical sourcing practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing or distribution
- CIPS or CPSM certification required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and data analysis tools (Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership and change management
- Strong negotiation skills with track record of securing favorable commercial terms
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics optimization
