Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resilience.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with key strategic suppliers, negotiating contracts that drive competitive advantage.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to ensure material availability and quality standards.
- Implement lean procurement processes and leverage ERP systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the supply base, ensuring compliance with corporate social responsibility goals.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM or CSCP are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to influence stakeholder decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and development.
