Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with key global suppliers and negotiate favorable contractual terms.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to forecast price trends and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure material availability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the procure-to-pay process to increase operational efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and large-scale vendor portfolios.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced data analytics (Excel, Tableau).
- Strong certification preferred (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM).
- Exceptional negotiation skills and high ethical standards in supplier interactions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment.
