Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost savings and supplier performance
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, negotiations, and contract management
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify innovative solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing objectives with business goals
- Implement and maintain supplier relationship management systems
- Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
