Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations achieving 10-15% annual cost reduction targets
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes from RFQ to contract finalization
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to optimize procurement decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing initiatives with business objectives
- Implement sustainable procurement practices and supplier diversity programs
- Oversee purchasing budget of $25M+ with rigorous cost control measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP Ariba preferred) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record in vendor management and strategic sourcing
- Advanced negotiation skills with complex contract development experience
- Data analytics proficiency for spend analysis and market research
- Strong leadership with cross-functional collaboration experience
