The Opportunity
We seek a visionary Senior Purchasing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize vendor relationships, and drive cost-saving innovations. This role is perfect for a procurement expert ready to make a tangible impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ product categories
- Lead vendor negotiations achieving 10-15% cost reduction targets
- Implement and manage ERP procurement systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Analyze market trends to identify risk mitigation opportunities
- Spearhead cross-functional procurement projects with engineering and operations
- Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 sustainability standards
- Manage a $5M+ annual procurement budget with KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing/distribution
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expertise in cost analysis, contract management, and supplier audits
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (Ariba, Coupa)
- Proven track record of global vendor relationship management
- Strong data analytics skills with SQL/Excel proficiency
