Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead cross-functional negotiations with key suppliers securing favorable terms
- Implement cost-saving initiatives targeting 10-15% annual reduction
- Manage vendor performance using KPI-driven evaluation frameworks
- Oversee procurement budget ($8M+) and ensure compliance with SOX controls
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize inventory turnover rates
- Drive sustainability initiatives through supplier ESG compliance programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing/distribution
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and Oracle ERP systems
- Proven track record of negotiating multi-million dollar contracts
- Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
