Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for 15+ critical categories
- Lead negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Analyze market trends and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Manage supplier performance metrics and KPI tracking systems
- Oversee procurement budget and ensure cost compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies
- Drive sustainability initiatives in supplier selection and evaluation
- Mentor junior purchasing professionals to enhance team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in procurement with 3+ years in leadership
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement tools
- Proven track record in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience in international sourcing and supply chain logistics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
