Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions meeting federal security standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing digital service delivery platforms
- Ensure compliance with Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA) and accessibility standards
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with municipal strategic priorities
- Conduct vendor evaluations and procurement of public sector software solutions
- Mentor junior architects in government-specific architecture principles
- Present technical recommendations to senior government stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in public/government sector
- Expertise in AWS/Azure GCP with FedRAMP/IRAP compliance experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Public Administration
- Government of Canada security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Certified Enterprise Architect (TOGAF or SABOK) required
- Deep understanding of Canadian public procurement processes
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation in regulated environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management across all government levels
